April follows March in rapid succession. Daffodils give way to tulips; spring wildflowers and colorful stems of leafy foliage, are stretching and growing by the minute as each passing day gets warmer and warmer. spring is in her full glory as the field slowly fills with life and color again after a long and cold winter.

But April is also the time for new beginnings. hundreds of plants that have been started from seed and cared for all winter, are also going into the ground. The gardens are beginning to fill up with plants and flowers, old and new, to promise the coming months will be full of beauty and color.
